By all accounts, the rapid growth in adoption of RPA among enterprises is only set to continue. So much so that Daniel Dines, the charismatic co-founder and CEO of UiPath, an industry leader, is now championing “a robot for every person” (a la Bill Gates’ “a computer on every desk”).
The rise and rise of RPA is part of a broader pivot among enterprises towards no or low code software platforms, where business or non-IT users are empowered to implement technology solutions that were previously the exclusive domain of their IT department.
